Have you heard the latest about Pier 66? In July 2014, the Local 10 News reported on several expansions and upgrades slated to take place there, and the surrounding area, in the weeks ahead. Some of the developers’ plans are rather exciting. They include an infusion of new restaurants and yacht slips, which will surely help bring in more people to auctions in Fort Lauderdale.
Right now, there are five restaurants inside of the Hyatt Regency alone and a 127 yacht slips at the marina. Plus, there are plenty more amenities and attractions in the area that are sure to please luxury focused travelers and adventurous locals alike. Many of them will get their initial, firsthand peek at the changes that have already taken place in the area come October 30th. That’s when the 55th Annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is expected to kickoff.
Keeping that in mind, Fort Lauderdale’s hospitality industry professionals would be wise to attend our auctions in advance of the show. At this moment, we have a variety of items in stock that could be used to attract business from show attendees. For example, we often have passenger transport vans and buses as well as box trucks in our inventory. It’s also not uncommon for our Fort Lauderdale events to include:
- Yachts and Small to Medium–Size Fishing Boats
- Luxury Cars, Trucks and Motorcycles
- Warehouse and Construction Vehicles
They could all be used to shuttle customers or goods to and from the pier. Understandably, transportation related items are not the only items our South Florida auction company has on hand. We’ve got used restaurant and nightclub equipment for sale as well as South Florida real estate.
