Throughout the year, our South Florida auction house receives brand name, hot and cold display cabinets as well as steam tables. We typically auction them off with other used restaurant equipment in Pompano Beach, Miami and Fort Lauderdale. In October, our auctioneers happened to acquire several cases that are part of Arctica Showcase’s Signature Series. Classified as European-style cases, they are ideal for use in delicatessens, buffet restaurants, storefront bakeries, butcher shops, seafood markets, gourmet cheese stores and walk-in sandwich shops.
Because of their construction and built-in features, Arctica Showcases tend to be extremely energy efficient, whether they’re designed to run hot or cold. Most come in standard, very attractive finishes too. A few of the ones that have made it into our Pompano Beach used restaurant equipment auctions have sported colors like white, black, walnut and oak.
Regardless of the model, all showcases in the series typically sport non-spherical glass, color corrected lighting systems, precision temperature and humidity control. It’s also good to note that some of the display cases in the series also feature fold-down work shelves, auto-fill and defogging systems as well.
One of the five well buffet cases that we have in inventory is 76.50-inches long, 52-inches high and 34.19-inches deep. Designed to hold prepared foods, it features a durable, welded, aluminum frame complete with levelers, laminated plywood finish and brushed steel interior. The end/divider glass is tempered and the sliding doors are made from Thermopane. For food service buyers that may not be aware, it’s a type of glazed, two-panel, insulated glass.
As for the hot wells, they require 230 volts/25 amps in order to operate properly. The OH heaters, on the other hand, tend to require 115 volts/16 amps. To learn more about this Arctica Showcase and the others that we may still have in stock, please contact us today.
