Renovation Disposal of South Florida Restaurant Equipment

Restaurant renovations are expensive. Not only are you paying for all the new furnishings—everything from the paint on the walls and the bar stools and banquettes to the labor for making all those changes—welcome though they may be. There’s also the cost of not being open while the renovations are taking place.

One Florida restaurant could have saved over $4000 during their recent renovation—but chose to give it away instead. Over half a dozen years, Sparky’s Landing in Key Colony Beach had collected literally thousands of $1 bills, stapled to the walls on the inside of their bar. They decided that their renovation would include giving the bar a new look, and invited the local Little League baseball and high school football teams to come help take the money off the walls. Whatever the kids took off the walls, their teams got to keep—to the tune of $2900 total.

Now obviously the kids couldn’t help with removing the restaurant equipment—nor would they have had any use for it. This is where we come in. We are happy to help remove your used south Florida restaurant equipment and sell it to the highest bidder in order to help offset the costs of your renovations. We’ll take everything, from tables and chairs to sinks and stoves, and sell them to other restaurateurs, so contact us today to learn more.

Often our buyers are people looking to start a new restaurant on as slim a budget as possible, so they’re willing to take used items in order to get started—perhaps hoping that in half a dozen years they’ll have $4000 to give away when they do their own renovations!

Now, if you’re paying attention, you will have noticed that we’ve only talked about $2900 of that $4000+ in dollar bills. The owners of Sparky’s Landing also gave $1300 to their employees to help offset their lost income during the renovations. We applaud their generosity, and hope that all other restaurants in this great state are as successful as Sparky’s has been!
